The purpose of the module to provide students with insight into advanced networking with particular reference to the Internet’s 5 layer protocol and architecture. This will lay the foundation for possible postgraduate research in the networking field. The course will provide a deeper understanding of the theoretical and technical aspects of the Internet, the WWW and other networking concepts.
